Meet the FRC Staff

Pastor D.

Lead Pastor

The Reverend Devin B. Jeffers, affectionately known as Pastor D., is a life coach, ordained minister, motivational speaker, and spiritual advisor. He has served in ministry for over 25 years in the capacities of Praise and Worship Leader, Youth and Young Adult Pastor, Executive Pastor, Pastoral Assistant, and Interim Pastor.

At a special congregational meeting on Sunday, September 15, 2019, the First Reformed United Church of Christ (FRC) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania made history by 91% voting to elect Devin as their new Pastor –one of the youngest, and the first person of color to ever serve in this capacity in the 285-year history of this pioneering congregation.

In the short time that Pastor D. has been at FRC, he started the “Church Adopt a Class Initiative.” Because of his vision to invest in the community, he has adopted Fulton Elementary School to share hope in negative experiences and provide any assistance the students, their families, or teachers may need. A Harvest Festival, holiday baskets, toy giveaways, classroom visits, a Teachers’ Wish List, and local stylist willing to provide free cuts and styles for students are just a few of the projects completed. Pastor D. is also a seminarian at the Lancaster Theological Seminary working on a Masters of Arts in Ministry and Leadership.

He is the founder and president of DBJ Enterprises with a mandate to “Empower and Encourage”. Under DBJ Enterprises, there is a mentoring program, virtual assistant company, and the WORD catalog housing sermons and teachings by Pastor D. He is a proud member of the Downtown Lancaster Ministerium, the IntraCity Progressive Pastors’ Association, the NAACP, Lancaster Young Professionals, Power Interfaith Lancaster County, and the Fulton Theatre Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access Committee. His bold, energetic, humorous, unique style is capable of impacting individuals from all walks of life. An anointed preacher and teacher, and soon to be author he draws on his own failures and shortcomings to deliver God’s message of love.

Pastor D. embraces technology and other avenues to illustrate teachings with real-life application. He has traveled both nationally and internationally showing, sharing, and speaking God’s message of love and power to ALL people. Get ready to be empowered for success, victory, and transformation in your life through the preaching and teaching ministry of Pastor D.B. Jeffers.
