First Friday Organ Concert

This concert series is our way of sharing with the community some of the majestic and inspiring music we hear as preludes, postludes, and offertories each Sunday as we gather here for worship.  Only 30 minutes in length, the free concerts begin at 8 PM each First Friday for the convenience of those who wish to spend the early evening visiting downtown galleries before the concert. Doors open at 7:30 pm. All are welcome to hear 30 minutes of inspiring music that will refresh your soul and inspire your spirit.

The Rita Jane Barton Hill Byrne & The Rev. Dr. Ronald and Darlene Christiansen Memorial organ was built by Columbia Organ Works by reclaiming, restoring, and rebuilding pipes from the Sebastian Gundling organ at St. John’s UCC in Lebanon, and other unused historic organs, and breathing new life into them to create the majestic sounds of the Hill Byrne /Christiansen Memorial Organ.
