Wednesday Lenten Series

Our third Lenten gathering is Wednesday, March 10. A light dinner (soup and sandwiches) begins at 6:15 p.m. in the Otterbein Room followed by an informal worship service in the sanctuary. Our theme “Discipleship”, will carry us through Lent, Holy Week and into the Easter Season. We worship in the chancel area before the altar and piano in the midst of candles and song.

Men' Retreat

3.19.2010 - 3.21.2010

The First Reformed Men's Retreat 2010 will be held on March 19 through the 21st at Camp Hebron, Halifax, PA. We are in the planning stages, and anyone interested in helping should contact Pastor Bill (575-6185) or Dave Romano (418-2397). We will be in the same Villa we were in last year, but we'll be doing our own cooking, so there are a lot of things you can do to help plan this year's retreat, from menus to daily activities!

Holy Week

4.1.2010 - 4.2.2010

Maundy Thursday
April 1 at 7:00pm. We gather for a dramatic story telling of the last Supper and Holy Communion remembering the night that Jesus was betrayed.

Good Friday
April 2 at 7:00pm. Service of Tenebrae (Darkness).We call it "Good" because only God could bring something this GOOD out of an event that was THAT bad. This is one of the most meaningful worship experiences of the Christian year.
